dc.description.abstract | Academic performance for a long time now has been recognized as an important output of any
educational system. This success can be realized if the learning environment is conducive and supportive. Learning
environments today need to embrace a variety of places, ideas, and people that the modern world demands in
terms of flexibility of space, time and technology. The purpose of this study was to survey the influence of school
environmental factors on students’ academic performance with a focus in Migori County. The study adopted a
descriptive survey and correlation research designs. A study sample of 116 secondary school principals were used.
It was established that school environmental factors had a strong influence on students’ academic performance.
Findings entailed in this study are important to educational administrators in ensuring that schools are well
maintained and supportive to teaching and learning. | en_US |
